Wayuu Bag Shipping to the USA: Cost, Timing, and Customs
Current Una Hebra DHL rates, typical delivery timing, free-shipping models, and customs caveats in one place.
The short answer
Una Hebra ships Wayuu mochila bags to the USA with DHL. Most bags have a flat $30 shipping charge and typically arrive about three business days after dispatch. Uribia and the Jepira bracelet include free worldwide shipping. Carrier scans, weekends, holidays, and customs can extend delivery.
Current rates by product
Cabo de la Vela ($195), Mayapo ($165), Palomino ($185), and Dibulla ($175) use the standard $30 DHL rate. Uribia costs $215 with free worldwide shipping. The Jepira bracelet costs $25 with free worldwide shipping.
Free shipping means Una Hebra does not add its standard shipping charge. It does not guarantee that a destination will waive import tax, duty, or carrier handling charges.
What happens after an order
Confirm the product and shipping line at checkout. When the parcel is dispatched, use the tracking information to follow carrier scans. Respond promptly if the carrier requests customs information, and inspect the piece when it arrives.
The standard bags measure about 22 cm high by 28 cm in diameter with a 106 cm strap. Because they are handmade, variation of about 1–2 cm is normal.
Customs and duties
Import rules depend on destination, declared value, and classification. Una Hebra cannot predict every customs assessment, and the shipping charge does not replace possible duties or taxes. Use current official U.S. guidance for a final decision rather than relying on an old threshold quoted by a retailer.
Choose with total cost in mind
Compare the full landed price, not just the shipping line. Mayapo is $165 plus $30 shipping, while Uribia is $215 with free worldwide shipping. Choose the design you will actually carry, then confirm the exact total in Stripe Checkout before paying.
